The Black Keys
El Camino

Almost perfect: Most of these tracks are instant classics.
4.5
The one thing that has always attracted me to The Black Keys' music is that retro 70's sound. Dan Auerbach's distorted vocals make it the perfect formula for greatness and El Camino is nothing short of it.
The album starts with the lead single "Lonely Boy" which sets the tone for the entire album. Most of it is fast paced, head bobbing, danceable tracks. But while staying true to their sound, you won't feel like you're hearing the same thing over and over again. The Black Key's have a way of keeping the album cohesive while exploring different sounds and subject matter. Some of my favorite tracks include "Dead and Gone", "Little Black Submarines", "Run Right Back" and "Sister". Fans will appreciate the latest addition to their B.K. collection. But for those who have been denying them, if this album doesn't draw you in, I don't know what will. Check El Camino today.
