Call me a late bloomer, but it wasn't until their Dear Science album back in 2008 that I got put on to TV On The Radio. Since then I've included such gems as "Halfway Home" and "Golden Age" into my playlists religiously. Now it looks like more hits to choose from on their fifth album (fourth studio album) Nine Types of Light. Favorites on here include "Caffeinated Consciousness", "Second Song", "Keep Your Heart", "Forgotten" and their hit debut single "Will Do". The last thing I expected from the Brooklyn band were so many love songs. But I'll take it. They're likeable and relatable. Production is a given and vocals from Kyp Malone and Tunde Adebimpe get the job done. This album is very different from any of their other works. It's a good thing though. Check out Nine Types of Light today.
