Overall Dela has crafted an album with an original, distinctive sound, whilst still borrowing from his influences. It's difficult to pinpoint any kind of defining genres other than the boom bap; such is the hazy, heaviness of his sound. Like a deep sleep, it's refreshing and meaningful at the time without being too all encompassing and dominant after listening like so much other music in the conscious world.
