P. Moon
The Love: A Life Story Prequel

Every now and then, I stumble upon some of the most magnificent music. It could be anywhere: facebook, twitter, bandcamp, soundscan, heck...google! And when I find a gem, I MUST share it. This, my friends, is something I'd like to put into my "some kinda awesome with a dash of dope" list. The artist's name is P. Moon, hailing out of Germantown, MD. The name P. Moon means "Papa/Protector of the Moon", where the Moon he is describing refers to the Black Woman (don't you just love that!). This brother, which amongst his peers is affectionately known as Brother Minister, put together this project and held it for over a year without any release. Every track on The Love: A Life Story Prequel is captivating, attention grabbing, transparent, and honest. From "Cool Subliminal" to the J Dilla influenced "Heartbroken", this project is a must have for your rotation. What I love most about P. Moon is that you can clearly see that this brother has been through alot, but is making moves to learn from each journey. I promise you that you will love this. Have I ever put up anything you didn't enjoy? Like what you hear, download and support the artist.
