Efficacy Episode 70 features Genesis Be -She began her journey in Mississippi and has moved up to New York City after being accepted into New York University's Clive Davis School of Recorded Music. Following the steps of her grandfather Rev. Clyde Briggs and her father John Briggs Be, Genesis Be has continued her family's legacy of activism by maintaining the mission to initiate positive change, this time through music and social entrepreneurship.

With the formation of Open Sky Artworks, a production and promotion company Genesis Be founded in Mississippi at the age of eighteen, The Movement has been able to organize fundraisers and events around New York. OSA also focuses on releasing commercial, mainstream- oriented music, produced by the company's own Pop and Hip-Hop artists. Genesis Be has recently founded The Strive Till I Rise Campaign. STRIVE is a collective effort by artists, students, entrepreneurs and organizations to use their individual networks, talents and resources to contribute to the positive growth of an ever-changing industry and society.
