I miss this young lady. I know she is off doing mommy and wife duties for the time being, but I honestly can say that I genuinely miss the beauty and elegance of Alice Smith. Her voice is amazing and she has such a presence that is unforgettable. "Do I" is my favorite song off her debut album, For Lovers, Dreamers, and Me, which was released in 2007. With so much going on today, there's nothing like being able to just be with the one you love and not think about what is going on outside. At that moment, whats happening inside is all that matters. Smith graced a few audiences with some new material last summer during her residency at the Blue Note in NYC. I can't wait for her to come back.
