After 20 years of keeping us moving to their tunes, The Family Stand is back with their latest offering "In A 1,000 Years". Peter Lord, V. Jeffrey Smith and soul songstress, Sandra St. Victor return with on of their greatest works. This album is a party. I mean the entire album. They lead in with the title track which is the setup for the overall feel of the album. Other upbeat tracks like "Bang, Bang", "Shut Up", and "How I Got Over" keep the momentum going throughout the album. One of my favorite tracks is their cover of "Happy Together". Recreating this musically and with Peter Lord's vocals was unexpected yet done very well. If you're a fan of uplifting party rock along with a few inspiring ballads, "In A1,000 Years" is for you.
