I first heard about these guys on the Gas’d: Love is Real vol. 1 compilation. The track "Happy" was so polished and classic. After doing some homework, I found the four man band from the DMV and their Green Complex album. It was everything I expected. Edgy content meets dope production. I couldn’t classify it specifically, but there’s plenty of Hip Hop, soul and pop to go around on this 26 track adventure. The album is well paced, lyrically and vocally. Even though it came out mid 2008, real music fans can appreciate the discovery. Check it out.
