Extremely creative mixtape, from a very talented young lady. I'm not sure if I've seen anybody else do this before. The mixtape combines tracks from well known songs such as Kanye West's "Love Lockdown" and Mos Def's "Umi Says" and pairs them with Shalonda singing classic tracks such as Nina's Simone's "House Of The Rising Sun" and Billie Holiday's "God Bless The Child". Great stuff. Looking forward to hearing more from her.
