Brother Ali
Us

A lot of folks have been waiting on this one, and it doesn't disappoint. If you don't know who Brother Ali is, then you've probably been hiding under a rock somewhere. But just in case you have been... He's a blind, White, Albino, Muslim Emcee from the Mid-West. Got all of that? Good, now on to the music. He's made his mark by making thought provoking, socially conscious songs such as "Uncle Sam Goddamn" and "Second Time Around". In the latter he states quite frankly "Yeah, I know it's not my place to say all that, but when ya'll get on some real pro-black, then I'll gladly go back to me emo rap".
The album lyrically is exactly what we expected, great thought provokers such as "Breakin' Dawn" and "The Travelers". most of the beats are great as well. Definitely a must have for real Hip-Hop lovers.
