It would be incorrect to simply call this a Dance music album. While it does definitely posses a certain hip moving quality, it also contains an undeniable amount of Soul music. Basement Jaxx are a UK house music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe as well as various interchangeable band members. Their formula for their latest project is simple in theory, but brilliant in it's application. Create fantastic House/Dance tracks, that would be great on their own, and combine them with equally stunning vocals. Vocals from people like Kelis, Santigold, Yoko Ono, Jose James and Paloma Faith. I think you get the picture...
