Just when I begin to question my dislike for certain artists, something happens to solidify my position. Case in point...T Pain doing a song & music video with teen country music star Taylor Swift.

Common recently did a song with the Jonas Brothers, but at least they didn't make a complete mockery of Hip Hop culture. In the video Swift blatantly runs through a variety of common held Hip Hop stereotypes. Gold teeth, sagging pants, profanity, and even the fact that T Pain had to be on the song and in the video.

The worst part of all? She did it at the country music awards as if a lot of country fans didn't have a bad enough perception of Hip Hop.

I'm not sure if T-Pain knows he's perpetuating a stereotype by doing this, nor do I think he cares. After this is the man who bought a $400,000. 10 lb. chain during a recession.
