Los Angeles duo J*DaVeY have been turning the underground music scene on its ear in the past couple of years. Their brand of electro-funk and new wave have drawn comparisons to The Eurythmics and that is not a stretch at all. Female singer Jack Davey and producer/keyboardist Brooke D’Leau have been crafting their own version of pop music since the two crossed paths more than eight years ago. Their new double EP The Beauty in Distortion/The Land of The Lost was recently released in July and serves as the proper release for a group whose work has been floating around cyberspace for a while now.

We had a chance to catch up with the duo recently and got at them about their style, their approach to music , and Bone Thugs N’ Harmony albums.
